RUFC - Nards Hoping For Twenty Goals

Rotherham United forward Daniel Nardiello says although he loved his time with Exeter City, Saturday is no time for an 'old pals act.`

The thirty year old played over fifty times for the Grecians banging in twenty-four goals before joining the Millers in the summer.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Nards said, 'We loved the place and the people but we wanted to come back up North where our families are from.`

Saying that the game tomorrow should be a good one, he carried on, 'You always look forward to playing against your old club and friends but my aim is to get on the score sheet and get three points.

'I think I made the right decision to come here. I've been in and out of the team and I do want to play every week but we have a lot of quality here.

'I`m generally happy with the way things are going for me personally. I've got eight goals but as I've never got twenty in a season before I`ll be pushing to get as close as I can to that.`

Nards has scored eight goals in fifteen appearances for the Millers so far this season - three in the last the last three games - so here`s hoping he can add to the tally tomorrow.
