RUFC - Liam 'Easy Decision' To Join Millers

Rotherham United`s latest loanee Liam Ridehalgh says it was an easy decision for him to join the Millers.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after joining the Millers from Huddersfield on loan, the twenty-one year old, who has recently been at Chesterfield on loan, said, 'I got the phone call on Wednesday morning and it was an easy decision for me to come here and play some games. Simon Grayson (Huddersfield Manager) told me to come here and take the opportunity with both hands because it`s a big club who have high expectations to get out of this division.

'I want to play as many games as I can and do well in them. I like to play at left-back but I did play left-midfield away from home with Chesterfield and if the Gaffer wants me to play in other positions I will try my best there.

After looking around the New York Stadium, Liam said, 'It`s a Championship Stadium and it`s a good incentive to play in front of big crowds.`

Asked about his long term future, Liam said he was just taking it game by game.

At this moment in time it is not known if Liam will be available to play for the Millers in the FA Cup game with Notts County next week.
