RUFC - Evans To Make Changes For Saturday's Game?

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans might make two or three changes for the visit of League leaders Gillingham on Saturday from the team that drew with League One side Notts County in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Speaking to the Official Site the Millers Boss said, 'Subject to training this week and our reserve match tomorrow I know my team and shape for Saturday and there will be most likely two or three changes, although I do need to look at how things progress this week.`

The Millers do have some of the injured players on the brink of coming back - Kieran Agard came back from injury and was on the bench on Saturday, the first time for four weeks although this lad has only started and played one full ninety minutes this season, which was against York City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Maybe Kari Arnason and David Noble will be fit for Saturday`s game? Or even Scott Shearer? To be fair to the eleven who have been included in the last three games I don`t think any of them have done enough wrong to be dropped. And we haven`t got a mid-week game so the players will be rested for what will probably be considered the toughest league game so far at the New York on Saturday.

I`m a great believer in the saying 'if it`s not broken don`t mend it`.

i know a lot of people say dont change a winning side but i always think that good manager's change to meet the differing styles of different sides, i also think your better players should be brought back when they are fit, but that's just me.

I think mvmiller that you have a valid point. Steve Evans always said he would play the players he thought depending on which team they are playing
