'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Evans Hoping Freck Deal Can Be Done

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans told the Football League Official Site that a deal to sign loanee Lee Frecklington on a permanent deal is more or less likely to happen.

The twenty-seven year old joined the Millers from Peterborough in October and has impressed both the management and the fans since his arrival. He has scored four goals in eleven games and there have already been discussions between Millers Chairman Tony Stewart and Posh Director of Football Barry Fry.

'Lee Frecklington has made it perfectly clear through his choice he wants to be at Rotherham United,' Evans said. 'It's now up to the clubs to agree a fee and there are further talks scheduled for next week. It is more likely to happen than not to happen, but as we have learned it is difficult and we don't talk about it in any great detail until the papers are signed.'

Let's hope it does happen. I like Freck and he was one of those players who fitted in straight away when he joined.
