RUFC - Evans 'We Dominated Second Half'

Rotherham United`s win this afternoon at Wimbledon was 'hard fought` according to Millers Manager Steve Evans - and he should know as he kicked and headed nearly every ball this afternoon stood on the touchline, when he wasn't bending the ear of the Fourth Official!

'I think both teams cancelled each other out in the first half,` Evans told Radio Sheffield after the win. 'But I think we absolutely dominated the second half and we could have scored five or six.

'I was in their faces a little bit at half-time and I pointed at a few individuals and said we needed more and, to be fair, those individuals gave us a lot more.

'We changed the system a little bit with the substitutions and that helped us to win the game. I thought when I brought on Courtney Cameron and Kieran Agard, goal aside, they were outstanding and all of a sudden the game changed in our favour.

'I think on any other day Daniel Nardiello would have got himself three or four goals but the one thing is that although he missed those chances he continued to work hard and was prepared to go back in the box and have another go.

'We`re not getting carried away but we`ve come on the road and we`ve got a big win today.`
