'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View From The Opposition - Wimbledon

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was delighted with his teams effort in the second half against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday at the Cherry Red Record Stadium which saw them win with a Kieran Agard goal.

Wimbledon Manager Neal Ardley thought his side came off the pitch after giving their all against the Millers.

Speaking to the Hounslow, Heston and Whitton Chronicle Ardley said, 'We lacked quality in certain areas and we could have done better with our final ball but every player came off having given their all against a good team and for us to have given them a game like that was quite pleasing.

'I don't remember Sully (Neil Sullivan in the Wombles goal) having too much to do.

'It's disappointing to lose and it's not quite working but I`d like to think there is progress in the way we are working for each other.'
