RUFC - Evans Excited About Possible New Signing

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has repeated that none of his first team players will be allowed to leave in the coming transfer window.

Speaking in his usual Gaffer On Sunday spot on the Official Site, Steve said that two bids had been put in for Kari Arnason and both had been firmly rejected as the player is not for sale.

He also says that he hopes to see a couple of players leaving on permanent deals and he hopes to capture a couple of others - one that he is particularly excited about who he says is a 'top quality' signing as well as an international player and who he has scheduled a meeting with just after Christmas.

On Radio Sheffield the other day Chairman Tony Stewart said that he is still in talks with Peterborough about Lee Frecklington and that he would be 'surprised if the deal didn't go through'.
