RUFC - Warrington 'We Are Inconsistent'

Rotherham United have been inconsistent so far this season and go into today`s game at the New York Stadium really needing a win to keep them up there challenging for, at least, a play-off spot.

Millers 'keeper Andy Warrington agrees about the inconsistency of the side but also says that it`s 'not alarm bells time.`

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post the thirty-six year old said, 'It is not that we are not playing well, it is just that we are not getting the rub of the green at home at the minute. Teams are coming and raising their game here with a game plan of just sitting back.

'We`ve got to try and be a bit more patient. But it will come and we are playing the right way.

'We were unlucky not to come away with anything from the Port Vale game but we have to put that game to bed and crack on.

'The good thing about the Christmas period is that the games come thick and fast and it will be good to get out on the pitch and put it right.`

Andy came into the season behind Scott Shearer, who was brought in during the summer, but when Shearer got injured he stepped back into the breach and has kept six clean sheets in sixteen games.
