RUFC - Evans 'Morgan Will Be A Great Signing'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has been badgering Liverpool since August about striker Adam Morgan who is due to join the Millers on an initial month loan today.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, the Millers Boss said, 'It is rare that Liverpool loan players out to League Two and it was the size of our support, the stadium and our standing of a club that got him here.`

The eighteen year old has played in the Reds` first team in cup competitions this season and scored a couple of goals in pre-season with Evans saying, 'He is very highly thought of and there is no chance of Liverpool selling him.

'He is due to come here for a month and if he is happy with us and we are happy with him then there is every chance the deal could be extended.

'He will be a great signing for us.`

The Millers have been trying to add to the Lee Frecklington signing and were looking towards Leigh Griffiths but the deal fell through. They have turned down bids for both Kari Arnason and Ben Pringle this week.
