RUFC - Evans On Today's Happenings

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has confirmed that defender Liam Ridehalgh will be staying with the Millers until the end of the season.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield this evening, the Millers Boss said that the formalities with his parent club Huddersfield Town will be done tomorrow.

Steve also said that youngsters Alec Denton and Mitch Rose have gone out on loan to Stamford AFC in the Northern Premier League Division One to get a run of games under their belts.

He was also highly delighted to have captured Daniel Kearns from Peterborough and also that Courtney Cameron had signed for another month from Aston Villa.

Asked if he was still looking for a striker the Gaffer said that he was happy with the strikers that were already at the club and made a point of mentioning Daniel Nardiello who he wasn`t that happy with last week saying that people didn't perhaps give him the credit he deserved.

Steve also said that there had been clubs after players currently playing in the first team squad who were 'going no where`.
