RUFC - Morgan Hoping To Get On Score Sheet

Rotherham United loanee Adam Morgan says that his first game for the Millers at Aldershot last week wasn`t quite what he was expecting.

The eighteen year old is a product of the Liverpool Youth Academy and appeared in three pre-season Europa League games for the Reds, starting two of them.

Coming off the bench for the second half of the game at the EEB Stadium on Saturday, the young forward told David Beddows of The Advertiser, 'It was a little bit different to what I was expecting.

'It was a lot more physical and there was a lot more long-ball but hopefully that will help my development. Learning different kinds of playing styles is part of growing up as a player.

'I've played in the Europa League which was a different experience again. As an eighteen year old it`s good to play in as many different cup competitions as possible and now I have made my FA Cup debut I`m really happy though it was unfortunate about the result.`

Speaking about this weekend`s game against Barnet at the New York Stadium, Adam said, 'Saturday was a bit hectic and it`s a different kind of game in the FA Cup. This week we are at home in the league and hopefully we can score a few.`

Adam might not have scored for the Liverpool first team but he was top scorer of their U18`s in the 2010/11 season and also has goals to his name for the England U17 and U19 team.
