RUFC - View From The Opposition - Barnet

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was very disappointed with the Millers display on Saturday when they lost at home to Barnet.

But, Bees Manager Edgar Davids was delighted and surprised.

Speaking after their two-nil win at the New York Stadium, the Bees Boss spoke to Radio London 94.9 saying, 'I didn't expect this. When you play against a side as strong as Rotherham you have to be proud of the team.`

I think it showed how delighted he was when the final whistle went and he ran round the technical area punching the air.

'Fortunately it went our way although I think, in other games, we have played better but not got the points,` the former Dutch international said. 'If you`d asked me at the start of the game for a draw I would have been delighted and now I`m even happier because we won.`
