RUFC - Kieran Wants More Goals

Rotherham United striker Kieran Agard is hoping he`s still in the team for the game at the Kassam Stadium tomorrow as it`s one of the grounds he`s not played at.

Speaking to The Advertiser the twenty-three year old, who joined the Millers in the summer from Yeovil Town, said, 'It will be a new experience as I've never played there.`

Kieran has made eighteen appearances for the Millers, mostly off the bench, and he`d like to have an extended run in the side but knows that competition among the front men is fierce.

'I`m pleased to be getting a little run in the team,` he said, 'and hopefully I can stay there with some good performances. I've scored a couple of goals and it would be nice to get more. Daniel Nardiello has got thirteen but someone should take the burden off him and share them around a bit. The boys are doing their best and I`m sure the goals will come for the team.`

Kieran`s first goal for the Millers was at the New York Stadium when he came off the bench to score the only goal against Plymouth Argyle. His second was away at Wimbledon when his celebration of running into the stands and celebrating with family members earned him his first yellow card of the season. He came off the bench again on Boxing Day to get the Millers consolation goal against high flying Port Vale.
