RUFC - Davis Done Deal

RUFC - Davis Done Deal

Rotherham United have added to their squad this afternoon by signing defender Claude Davis from Crawley Town.

The Jamaican born centre-back started his career in Jamaica with Portmore United who he skippered to the Jamaican National Premier League title in 2003.

From there he moved to England and Preston North End who he played around one hundred games for before having a season with Sheffield United, where he made the headlines for a training ground disagreement with a colleague. Moving to Derby County work permits and injuries led him to only playing twenty-seven times in eighteen months and moved out to Crystal Palace on loan before eventually signing for them in September 2009.

Two years later Claude moved to Crawley Town playing over fifty times for the reds, the last time being in their three-nil loss at Bournemouth.

Claude has over sixty-five international caps for Jamaica.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Claude to the Millers
