RUFC - Jaybo's Move Suits All

RUFC - Jaybo's Move Suits All

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans told the Official Site that he has let Jason Taylor leave because he has other options.

Speaking after the twenty-six year old midfielder had his contract terminated today and moved to Cheltenham Town, the Millers Boss said, 'The lad has been excellent for me and the Millers but it would be fair to say that we have a number of outstanding central midfield players and the permanent capture of Lee Frecklington, and the return from injury by David Noble allows me to let Jason to move onto pastures new.

'Given the options we now have, his match time was going to be limited and the player himself wants to play regular first-team football. The decision made for him to move on suits both parties.'

The Millers also have a gentleman's agreement that Jaybo won't be playing against us when we travel to Whaddon Road in March.

When Jason wasn't on the team sheet on Saturday I think we all knew he would be on his way out of the club even though, apparently, in December we were told his name was 'one of the first names on the team sheet'.

But, I suppose that's football
