RUFC - Nards Hoping To Play On Saturday

Daniel Nardiello has said that there is no truth in what some fans have been saying that he won't be playing for Rotherham United again.

Speaking to Rob Staton, the thirty year old said that, as far as he knew, he wasn't the one that Manager Steve Evans says is going out of the club before the transfer deadline.

Admitting that he didn't want to come off on Saturday, Daniel said, 'I'm always going to be disappointed when I'm taken off and I want to be playing again on Saturday so I've got to work hard in training to justify my place in the time. The manager has told me he wants me here and to play for the club and I'm happy at Rotherham United.

'After a defeat the gaffer likes to sit down and talk to the lads and tell us how we can go on and improve.

'I have a good relationship with the manager. We've had discussions about how he wants me to play and if he doesn't like what I'm doing then he tells me and I'm OK with that. I want to learn to play how he wants me to.'

There have been rumours that Evans has lost the dressing room which Nards said wasn't true, 'We're all in it together. We've all got to work hard together from the management down to the players.'

Good interview this with Rob Staton asking some direct questions which Nards answered without any preamble.
