RUFC - Boss Asking Fans To Get Behind The Team

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans is asking people to keep supporting the Millers.

After saying that the fans have been the twelfth man at the New York Stadium things are starting to go a little pear shaped and fans have started to 'turn` if the Millers aren't winning within the first half-an-hour.

Speaking to The Advertiser the Millers Boss said, ' The fans are fantastic when they are behind you but you can`t have teams coming here and knowing that if they can keep Rotherham out for twenty-five minutes the crowd turn on the players. Yes, at three-nil down to Bristol Rovers they are entitled to do that because they pay their hard earned money to come but there is a limit.

'I've no problem with fans voicing opinions but its how you voice it.

'I've still every belief we`ll go up and need people behind us. I`m still the same manager whose name the fans were chanting at Rochdale just four weeks ago.

'I want to deliver for Rotherham United because I've grown to love the place and all I can ask the fans tomorrow is to drive their passion in a positive way and generate an atmosphere that can put us third in the league.`
