RUFC - Jordan Here To Score Goals

Rotherham United's latest loan signing Jordan Slew has joined the Millers to get some game time and score goals.

Jordan knows the area well being born in Gleadless and being a product of the Sheffield United Academy. He signed his first professional contract with the Blades in November 2010 before moving to the Premiership with Blackburn Rovers in September 2011. Rotherham will be the third loan club Jordan has played for since moving to Ewood Park, the other two being Stevenage and Oldham.
'I was told Rotherham were interested in me,' the twenty-year old striker said, 'and I thought it's a great club with a great manager so why not. And I live just half-an-hour away so it's great to be back home but the main thing is to score some goals.'

With Manager Steve Evans saying Jordan will feature tomorrow, he said, 'I'm looking forward to playing tomorrow and hopefully getting three points.'

Asked what type of player he was, Jordan replied, 'I'm a goalscorer.'

Let's hope he starts scoring them tomorrow!
