RUFC - Shearer and Morgan Coming Along Well

RUFC - Shearer and Morgan Coming Along Well

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was expecting one of his players to have left the club either on loan or via a transfer during the last day of the transfer window and in his usual Gaffer On Sunday spot on the Official Site he isn't sure why that didn't happen.

He says if the unnamed player does go out when the loan window opens or the Millers get injuries then he may do some business too saying that players such as Mitch Rose, Alec Denton and Nicky Walker aren't quite ready to step up although they are coming along.

He also says that Lee Frecklington will be available next Saturday after sitting the win over Northampton out with an ankle injury. Long term injury duo Scott Shearer and Craig Morgan are progressing with Shearer being about four weeks away from full fitness. He is hoping that Morgan will be fit for the Chesterfield visit to the New York Stadium.
