RUFC - Alex Loves Playing Under Floodlights

Rotherham United striker Alex Revell says that he loves Tuesday night games.

Revs scored his fourth goal of the campaign on Tuesday night in the three-one win over Torquay at Plainmoor, being his second Tuesday night goal.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser the twenty-nine year old said, 'There`s just something about playing under the floodlights, it`s a good time to play. It breaks the week up, especially after a defeat.`

Well Alex is going to have plenty of time under floodlights before the end of the season due to the weather and cup postponements the Millers have five more Tuesday night games, four of which are away from home.

Speaking about the Millers away following, where ninety-two of the one thousand seven hundred at Plainmoor on Tuesday night were Millers fans, Alex said that sometimes it`s more like an home game than an away game. Disappointed at the result last Saturday at Burton, he carried on, 'We take so many fans who give up their time and pay their money to travel away and we want to make it worth their while.`
