RUFC - Millers The Man U Of League Two?!

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that his team are the 'Manchester United of League Two'.

Speaking about looking for another striker the Millers Boss told MillersPlayer, 'There will always be speculation regarding players in at the club and you can't dampen expectation because we are the Manchester United of League Two because we are the team everyone wants to beat.

'We are always looking but I'm not panicking. We go about our business quietly although answer direct questions when they are put to us.'

Asked if he was close to signing anyone before tomorrow's game with Chesterfield, Evans said, 'How close is close? Things can change in a phone call. But, if I have to go through the next thirteen weeks with this squad of players then I'll be absolutely delighted but if we can add that final little bit of quality then we are going to try and do it. But, with a new player or not, we will be ready for Saturday.'

The Manchester United of League Two, eh? Well, we do play in red and white and our Manager does give the Fourth Official (and often the linesman and referee as well) earache every week - but Man United? No, Steve, I don't think so - well, not yet anyway!
