Rotherham United's Assistant Manager Paul Raynor says that Saturday's performance against Chesterfield is the best since he joined the club.

Speaking to MillersPlayer before the squad set off to Bristol, Paul said, 'We've been working long and hard all season to produce performances like that and it was nice that we produced one in a big derby game in front of a full house. It was an important three points anyway but it will please the fans even more that it was against Chesterfield.

'We were delighted with the all-round performance particularly the passing, the tempo and it was a total dominant performance. The boys carried out what we wanted to the letter which was good to see as was that the goal came from one of the set pieces that we've been working extremely hard at as well as the clean sheet.

'Our home record isn't what we anticipated and obviously you don't like losing games in front of your home supporters and, like the Gaffer said on Saturday, it was one for the fans.'
