RUFC - Kearns Hamstring Injury

RUFC - Kearns Hamstring Injury

Rotherham United lost midfielder Daniel Kearns at half-time last night with what looks like a hamstring injury.

Speaking after the win over Bristol Rovers the Millers Manager Steve Evans said, 'He was feeling his hamstring.

'We`ll need to have a look at it and see if it`s a three or four weeks job or just ten days. We are hoping its seven to ten days but we won`t really know anything for forty-eight hours.`

Asked why Daniel Nardiello wasn`t involved, Steve said, 'He was feeling his groin and we didn't want to take any chances. If someone had wanted to play tonight it would have been Daniel because he was outstanding last weekend. Mind you, when Lee Frecklington got the second goal I saw Nardiello run by me so he didn't seem to have a bad groin then!'

Up until he went off last night, Daniel was my Man of the Match
