RUFC - Millers Give Up On Grimes?

Rotherham United look like they have put the idea of signing Ashley Grimes from Rochdale on hold - for the time being.

The Millers have been linked with the twenty-six year old forward since the start of the month although it has always been thought that Rochdale were reluctant to lose him. Dale Manager Keith Hill admitted ten days ago that he had spoken to Millers Boss Steve Evans about Grimes but said, at the time, that the striker was still in his plans at Spotland.

So far this season Ashley has appeared in thirty-one games scoring ten goals - one being the opener on New Years Day against the Millers at Spotland which Rotherham went on to win two-one.

Grimes is out of contract at the end of the season so I wonder if we'll see some movement by the Millers then?
