RUFC - Evans 'Winning Run Difficult In League Two'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says it's really tough to win games in League Two.

The Millers drew their first league game at the New York Stadium on Tuesday night against York City which could be a big point at the end of the season.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the Millers Boss said, 'Gillingham lost on Tuesday and Port Vale lost and I went to watch Bradford and Dagenham on Wednesday and I watched Bradford struggle to get a point at home. This is a team who's just represented League Two in the Capital One Final and they were very fortunate to get a point. And it's not criticism of Bradford, Dagenham were organised. But it just shows how tough it is.

'We lacked the killer pass on Tuesday night and York City are particularly strong in the middle of the park. There's downsides to the other night but every point is crucial.

'A winning run is a real difficult thing to achieve in League Two and we've got thirteen Cup Finals and I've said every week that Gillingham and Port Vale haven't gone anywhere yet.'

After having a poor January Rotherham have only lost one game during February picking up thirteen points out of eighteen. They go into the game with Southend on a four match unbeaten run. I'm just wondering if Steve Evans could be up for a Manager of the Month award? What are your thoughts?
