'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Nil Knill For Rotherham

Following on from our 0-0 against Doncaster Rovers at Millmoor, Alan Knill has said the game was a 'good advertisement for football' because both teams wanted to pass the ball.

He told themillers.co.uk 'I have to say I though it was a great game between two teams who really wanted to pass the ball about so it was a good advertisement for football. It was good for us and after Tuesday's game they changed their system to play us and they made it difficult for us. It poses questions all the time and the whole game was one of tactics and it really rested on which full backs could get forward the most.'

As Rotherham battled from -10 points and got into the positive points for the first time this season, Knill added:

'I thought it was pretty even, in fact it was one of the first games I have enjoyed watching.'

The Millers are on a roll, should be far more to enjoy now the points are there and Rotherham can build.
