RUFC - Defender Unsure Of Future

Rotherham United defender Liam Ridehalgh isn`t sure of his future after his loan period with the Millers finishes at the end of the season.

The twenty-one year old joined the Millers in November from Huddersfield Town after first being on loan at rivals Chesterfield, playing eighteen times since then and helping the side keep five clean sheets in the process.

With his contract running out at the John Smith Stadium in the summer Liam told The Star, 'I`m not sure what`s happening at Huddersfield and will just have to wait and see.`

Speaking about playing for the Millers, Liam carried on, 'I think I am doing alright and contributing to the team quite well and I don`t think many wingers get past me.

'I would like to contribute more going forward and that`s something I need to work on if I want to play at a higher level. I've got loads of learning to do. I am still only twenty-one. I try to learn off people in our team and players off TV. If I keep going, I will be alright.`

I thought Liam had a good game on Tuesday night at Wycombe and set the first goal up for Daniel Nardiello - and, actually, I`d forgotten he didn't really belong to us!
