RUFC - Evans 'Nards Will Play Where We Say'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has told striker Daniel Nardiello that he will play where he`s put!

Top scorer Nards has made it clear over the season that his preferred position is up front but often we have seen him start out wide.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser the Millers Boss said, 'Daniel says he should play in this position and that position but ultimately he`ll play where we tell him.

'He`s got eighteen goals so far and the target we have for him is finishing the season on twenty-three or twenty-four.

'But, I don`t care if he doesn't score another goal as long as we score enough to win most of the games.`

Nards is third top scorer in League Two as we go into the Easter weekend with Jamie Cureton of Exeter and former Miller Tom Pope (who couldn't hit the proverbial barn door when he was with us) of Port Vale above him.
