RUFC - Groundsman 'Highly Commended'

RUFC - Groundsman 'Highly Commended'

Rotherham United Groundsman Dave Fellowes has been highly commended by the Football League.

Being involved with the New York Stadium pitch from the very beginning Dave, who joined the Millers from Fulham, has had glowing feedback from both the officials and opposition all season and I'm only surprised that he wasn't actually voted Groundsman of the Year.

The only game that was postponed this season at the New York was down to the weather - and really it wasn't the pitch it was the surrounding area that was the problem.

Each Division had it's own 'Best Groundsman' with David Radmore at Plymouth being given the title in League Two. Along with Dave, Terry Roberts of Cheltenham Town was also highly recommended.

Well Done Dave! Keep up the good work!
