Former Rotherham United goalkeeper Andy Warrington says that he is hoping to stay in the game after proving, this season, that he can still play.

Woggy who is pursuing his coaching badges is on the look out for a new club after Millers Boss, Steve Evans, told him that he was no longer needed at Rotherham.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, the thirty-six year old said, 'I am hoping to still play but there are a lot of players out of contract at the minute so we shall just have to wait and see.

'I came here to try and get promoted and it has taken six years. There`s been some ups and downs but finally there is some stability here, we`ve won promotion and I feel like I've been part of it.

'I still have a lot of affection for Rotherham United and I can`t thank the people enough for the support I have been given here and would like to return one day but that`s in the future.

'The supporters have been first class with me and I didn't expect the sent-off I got last weekend. They have pulled me through some dark times last season and when my dad died I got lots of messages of support. It was really humbling.`

Going on to talk about his future, Andy said, 'I`d like to stay in the game in some capacity. I recently completed by UEFA B outfield badge and I`m going for the UEFA B goalkeeping course next.`

Good Luck in everything you do in the future Andy and I think we would all like to see you back at the NYS in the future.
