RUFC - Four Put On Transfer List

Rotherham United have put four players on the transfer list today.

Defender and former captain Ian Sharps, winger Lionel Ainsworth, defender Nicky Hunt and striker Kayode Odejayi have all been told they can find other clubs.

All four players were brought in by Millers Boss Steve Evans for the start of last season with Ian Sharps re-joining the Millers from Shrewsbury Town. Sharps has played twenty-seven games for Rotherham this season before going out on loan to fellow promotion hopefuls Burton Albion in January.

Lionel was just finding his feet in the first team when he suffered an injury and to get match practice was sent out to Aldershot where he made several appearances before coming back to the Millers at the end of March.

Nicky Hunt joined the Millers from Preston North End but got a hamstring injury in pre-season leaving him on the sidelines for the first month of the season. He then played in a handful of games before being sent out on loan to Accrington Stanley.

Kayode Odejayi arrived from Colchester and has appeared over forty times for the Millers although mostly from the subs bench scoring five goals.
