RUFC - Boss Made More Tough Decisions Today

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says it was a 'tough decision' letting Ian Sharps, Nicky Hunt, Lionel Ainsworth and Kayode Odejayi know today that they were free to find another club.

All four have a year left on their contracts although three of them, with the exception of Odejayi, have all been out on loan this season.

The four today join Danny Schofield on the transfer list with Andy Warrington and Dale Tonge already being told they were no longer needed last week.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the Millers Boss said, 'It was a tough decision but one that was well thought out. Since we made the announcement we have already had people asking about them.

'If they are still here when we return from the summer break then they will be treated with the utmost respect.'

Earlier Evans said that he will be bringing in new players and has identified the 'key targets'.
