RUFC - Not So Many New Players Joining This Summer

RUFC - Not So Many New Players Joining This Summer

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that he has the bulk of his squad in place unlike last season when he brought in practically a new team of players.

Speaking to The Star the Millers Boss said, 'To introduce so many players last season was always likely to bring with it an element of inconsistency but that will be less this year.`

With rumours that two players were in town yesterday for medicals doing the rounds Steve said, 'Of course, we are looking to add to the squad but any player who comes in will really have to work hard to get in the side, there is nothing that can be taken for granted.`

The Gaffer has always said that no player should take his place for granted and I suppose it`s only fair to let prospective players know that but I do wonder if it might put some off signing for us?
