Ben Pringle

Born in Whitley Bay Ben played for the Wallsend Boys Club before joining West Bromwich Albion as a trainee. In 2007 he went on to play for Newcastle Blue Star before moving to Morpeth Town the following season and then he went on to play over forty times for Ilkeston Town. In July 2009 he signed a one year deal with Derby County and spent a month out on loan with Torquay in 2011.

At the end of the 2010/11 campaign Derby County told Ben that he could find another club and he joined the Millers a few days later.

He made his debut for Rotherham against Oxford at Don Valley coming off the bench for the final five minutes. His first goal came in a two-one win at the Alexandra Stadium against Crewe but after coming off the bench in the five-two loss at Bristol Rovers Ben was pushed aside by Scott. He spent until March in the Reserves but was brought back at the beginning of March where he played the second half and got the goal that got the Millers a point at Barnet. Ben appeared in another thirteen games that season scoring another two goals.

Ben began this season like a different player and three goals in the opening four league games. Prings played forty-seven games for Rotherham this season and was the second highest scorer with nine goals.

In January this year he signed a new two -and-a-half deal with Rotherham.
