RUFC - Interest In Transfer Listed Trio

RUFC - Interest In Transfer Listed Trio

Rotherham United have had interest in their three transfer-listed players.

Lionel Ainsworth, Kayode Odejayi and Ian Sharps, who all joined the Millers last summer, were told that they were available to find other clubs at the end of last season. Ainsworth and Sharps spent the latter part of season on loan to Aldershot and Burton Albion respectively while Odejayi made over forty appearances for the Millers he only started seventeen times.

'There has been good interest in these three players,' Millers Boss Steve Evans told the Official Site, 'and I think their agents will be in talks with those clubs now.

'What they decide to do is up to them but let me say this now, it will have no bearing on what players we bring to the Millers.'

Evans signed David Worrall yesterday to join other new players Richard Brindley, Adam Collin and Joe Skarz.
