'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Evans Can't Wait To Start Training Again

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans is expecting his players to turn up for the first training session after the summer on Wednesday fit and raring to go.

The Millers Boss is also hoping that, alongside new players Richard Brindley, Adam Collin, Joe Skarz and David Worrall, two other new faces will have joined the Millers in time for Wednesday.

One person not coming back this week is Kari Arnason. With his Icelandic duties meaning he didn't finish playing football until well into the summer, Evans has granted him an extra week off.

'It will be good to see the lads again,' Evans told the Official Site, 'they've all done Rotherham United, the supporters and myself proud last season and that last day win will never be forgotten.

'The new lads will be with us and that always creates a bit of additional banter.'
