Rotherham United's latest recruit Rob Milsom said he knew that he was signing for a 'club that is going places.'

Speaking to MillersPlayer after signing a six-month contract, the twenty-six year old said, 'I'm looking forward to the challenge here and one I shall try and grab with both hands.'

Speaking about his move to the Millers and the New York Stadium, Rob said, 'I knew they had a new stadium and it's a great stadium and it looks like the club is going places.

'I've played with Kari Arnason (at Aberdeen) and kept an eye on how he was getting on and obviously knew that Rotherham were doing really well and had got promoted last season. I spoke to Kari and he only had good things to say about the club and said how they were trying to build a good squad so he had a part in me coming here.

'I really enjoyed my time at Aberdeen and can't say a bad word about the place but this is a new challenge and I'm looking forward to it.'

Asked what he would bring to the Millers, Rob said, 'I've got a lot of energy and I like to get up and down the pitch.'

Rob didn't have much playing time last season with the Dons having had a knew operation in the 2011/12 season and then got a knee injury at the start of last season meaning he only made fourteen appearances.
