RUFC - Hylton Happy To Be Working With Evans

RUFC - Hylton Happy To Be Working With Evans

Rotherham United`s new striker Danny Hylton says that he is delighted to be a Miller.

Speaking after (finally) completing a two-year deal yesterday, the twenty-four year old told MillersPlayer that he was looking forward to getting started with his new 'massive` club.

Admitting it was a difficult decision to leave Aldershot where he`d been all his footballing life, Danny said, 'I`ve been there seven or so years and loved every minute of it. But it just felt like the time was right to kick-on and coming to a big club that`s going places isn`t a bad place to do it.

'The players Rotherham have got here are winners and hopefully I can come here and do well and combined we can push on. The Gaffer says he wants to play me up front but I guess there are times in the season when I`ll be asked to play a different role and I`m more than happy to play there and I`ll do the job as best I can.`

Speaking about the Millers Boss Steve Evans the former Aldershot player said, 'He`s a passionate man and you can`t knock his record and I`m looking forward to working for him.

'And you can`t not be impressed with the new stadium, it`s lovely and playing in front of that crowd every week will be amazing. I can`t wait to get started.`
