Set Piece Problems

After seeing the millers concede two goals from set pieces Rotherham United manager Alan Knill was obviously a disappointed man.

He is qouted in todays Rotherham Star that they have conceded seven goals from set-pieces out of the fifteen the team has conceded all season.

He refused to put it down to tiredness just certain people not being alert to dangers and getting there challenges in.

The upside of this problem is the form of Will Hoskins who is on a rich vein of form and without his goals this season i fear we would be cast well adrift by now.

There is also some good news regarding Colin Murdoch who is due to have a run out in the reserves game tonight against Sheffield Wednesday and could soon be pushing for a first team recall

Murdoch`s return may give the current shirt holders a wake up call

Exactly Mex , the whole back four looked very complacent last night and the threat of their places up for grabs should shake em up a bit.

Probably not as bad as the Swans though at set pieces! We've been awful defending them for over a year now!

of the 15 goals conceded this season, 7 have been from set pieces. just not good enough. weve only scored 1 ourselves from set pieces which also needs some working on.
