RUFC - Midfielder Signed Up?

Although not confirmed by either Rotherham United or Greenock Morton's Official Sites, the Scottish clubs Twitter account has said that Millers Boss Steve Evans has signed midfielder Michael Tidser today.

Michael came through the Youth ranks with Celtic but, after captaining their U19's side he was released. He went on to spend a season with Swedish side Ostersunds FK before moving back to Scotland with Greenock Morton in 2010.

The twenty-three year-old has played over one hundred and twenty times for the Ton including thirty-seven times last year. He also knows where the net is pitching in with eleven goals last season.

According to the Greenock Morton Official Site Michael is 'cultured midfield play maker with the ability to emerge from tight situations with the ball. He is always on the look out for the "killer" pass. He is comfortably two footed but favours his left foot and tends to occupy the left central slot in midfield'.

Michael has caps for both the Scotland U18 and U19 sides.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Michael to the Millers

Rotherham start their three-game Scottish tour at Greenock Morton on Tuesday, 9thJuly.
