Is Now The Time......?

Now the dust has settled on our defeat against MilLwall on Saturday i ask this question, is it time for the fans to be pro-active rather than re-active?

We all know the defense is going through what can be called a sticky patch at the minute but that will sort itself out. Also the midfield are not firing on all cylinders but with the quality in there it is only a matter of time before we see the best of them again.

No, my concern is with the strikers or lack of them at the minute. To be fair we cannot expect Hoskins to keep banging them in week after week, as we all know there will be a time when he goes through a lean patch.

So this brings me to my question, would the fans be prepared to fund a decent loan signing?. I know this has happened at other clubs via fan groups or even individual fans so it is not a impossibility.

If the regulars were to put an extra pound into the club each week then this could maybe raise an extra 3 to 4 thousand pounds to fund that loan. I make no secret of the fact that i think Neil Shipperly would be an excellent signing for Rotherham United to help us climb up the table.

To to finish i ask again are the fans of The Millers prepared to take this step?

do you have any restraints on you with regards to this or was the points penalty the only thing enforced ? hope you guys survive as it will be a big two fingers to the FA !

Probably an extra pound a week all the fans would. Which would probably be enough to pay wages, but wouldn't there be extra's to pay too?

It would be a fantastic achievement if you stay up, and its definetly 'do-able', you're better than the six sides above you at the moment. Hope you get a good response with your plea to the fans...
DMG
I for one would but don't think you'd get everybody doing it.Has to worth a try though.

Mex, you know 50% of the fans would, but theres always those that moan constantly during the game about "paying to watch this crap" Such as those wouldnt pay the extra quid. Good idea though pal.
