'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Millmoor to host rugby?

Rotherham have held talks with the local council and rugby club, with a view to developing Millmoor as a 'community stadium'.

It could provide 'health, education and leisure benefits' for the local community.

Chairman Peter Ruchniewicz told the Sheffield Star: 'The new stand development has really focused minds on how the development of Millmoor could assist the regeneration of Mosborough, benefiting all who live, work and have businesses in the area.

'In the long term, we want to cement an already excellent partnership with the Council, by assisting in delivering a wide range of community benefits.'
