RUFC - Evans Hoping To Get One Or Two More In

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that although new loanee Miles Addison hasn't had a first team game for almost fourteen months the tall centre-back-come-midfielder is fit and ready to go.

The six feet two inches twenty-five year old suffered a foot injury in November 2012 and had an operation on it in February which kept him out for the rest of the season and with new players down at Dean Court he's not been able to get himself back in the side.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the Millers Boss said, 'I watched him against a very experienced Queen Park Rangers reserve side about three weeks ago and he was simply outstanding. So he's more than ready.'

Speaking about any other loan player he gets in as well as Miles, Steve said, 'Any loan players we now get in we are looking at getting them in on a longer term. But we like to get loan players in then we can look at them at close quarters and so then if we make it a permanent deal it shows that the young man has come in and done exceptionally well for us.

'I've been very busy over the weekend and my bit was to identify the talent and then it's Paul Douglas's job (the COO) to agree the terms with the other club. Hopefully we can bring some of these discussions to fruition. We've got to be very mindful that this transfer window is open until the end of the month so there's a lot of time but I think there will be another addition if not two before the weekend.'
