RUFC - View From The Opposition - Shrewsbury Town

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was delighted with his teams first ever win at the Greenhous Stadium saying that it was a 'team effort' and his players carried out his instructions 'to the letter'.

Shrews Manager Graham Turner wasn't so happy and speaking to their Official Site after the Millers three-nil win, he said the first twenty minutes were 'embarrassing'.

'You can't concede like we are conceding. They were appalling goals to concede and we have asked for it with poor defending like that. We couldn't cope with the threat of Rotherham.

'On Thursday and Friday in training we looked at how to counter the amount of balls that Rotherham get into the box and the directness that they play.

'Confidence has been drained from the players over the past few weeks and we have to ideally bring in a few additions to try and rectify that - we've worked hard at that, but not yet achieved anything.

'As a manager you take full responsibility of what goes on on the pitch and I take full responsibility for what has happened today.'
