RUFC - Ton Up For Stevie

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans is getting ready to lead the Millers out for his hundredth game in charge on Saturday afternoon when Rotherham travel to take on Peterborough at London Road.

Steve was appointed the Millers Manager on 9th April 2012, when their home was still Don Valley Stadium although the first game he actually sat in the dugout was a week later at Shrewsbury and we will all be hoping that the result on Saturday won't be the same as that one (whisper: we lost three-one!).

When he first came to the Millers Steve said it would be a roller-coaster ride and he wasn't wrong, though we are now looking, if things go to plan, at out second promotion under him.

Every time I lead the Millers into a match, and I do so with great pride, never for a minute do I forget what it is like to manage this fantastic football club,' the Millers Boss told the Official Site.

I think it's no secret that many of us were dismayed when Chairman Tony Stewart announced Steve as the Millers Manager but he's made a lot of us eat our words.

So here's to another hundred games in charge Steve and many congratulations from all at Vital Rotherham.
