RUFC - Kari Hoping To Help Millers To Promotion
Rotherham United midfielder Kari Arnason says he is putting the fact that Iceland didn't qualify for the World Cup in Brazil and is concentrating on helping getting the Millers promoted.
Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser the Icelandic International said, 'I was gutted after the World Cup dream ended and I think I took a little dip in form.
'But I've turned that around now and I'm focusing on Rotherham. They are the club that pay my wages and it's important for me to do well for them.'
Speaking about his time with Iceland, the thirty-one year old said, 'It was the furthest we'd ever gone in the competition and I thought I did very well over the two legs but it just didn't work for us. I think I'm on thirty-two caps and I'd like to get up to fifty and I'll be happy to play for my country as long as I can.'
