'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Confounding the critics

This afternoon Rotherham United go into their game against Crewe with the added incentive that if they mangage to secure all the points then if results go their way then they can climb out of the bottom four.

Before the season began odds were being placed as to when the Millers would get out of the bottom four or if they would at all. You could get long odds on it not being before christmas but here we are at the end of October and the Millers stand on the edge of doing just that.

There has been many a so called expert on tv who predicted that it would be a long hard struggle which some predicted would be fruitless, but to some of them it has come as a shock just see how well they are doing.

Well this Rotherham side is made of sterner stuff this season and they aim as the manager has said to make some so called experts eat their words and not only stay up but be a comfortable mid table side. My own personal view is if the team can keep doing what they are doing then a play-off place is not beyond them,or is that just a dream ?
