RUFC - Evans 'Vuckic Will Be A Big Player For Us'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans told Teamtalk that he believes Newcastle loanee Haris Vuckic could be vital in the Millers end of season campaign.

The twenty-one year old Slovenian midfielder has only made a handful of starts for the Millers since joining in November but has made quite a few appearances from the bench scoring four goals including the winner on Boxing Day at Bradford.

He played the last half-hour in front of the cameras last Friday in the goalless draw at home to the Bantams and although he could have done what he did on Boxing Day when he skied a shot that looked easier to score he did make an impact on the game.

'I thought he caused mayhem,' the Millers Boss said. 'He has got a different way of playing, I was impressed with him in training and it was a big decision not to start him against Bradford,

'When he renewed his loan spell in January I thought he would be a big player for us in the big games at the end of the season. And I still believe that.'
