RUFC - Millers To Return To Scotland

RUFC - Millers To Return To Scotland

Rotherham United are already making plans for the pre-season schedule, even though they don`t know which League they will be in!

After last year`s successful tour of Scotland Millers Manager Steve Evans is planning a return and will play friendly pre-season games between 10th July and 19th July.

'You get good opposition and good quality pitches going to Scotland,` the Millers Boss told the Official Site.

Three games have already been penciled in with the hopes of getting a fourth and it is hoped that full details will be released within the coming week.

'The matches are always competitive and always become like mini auld enemy, Scotland versus England clashes,` the Gaffer said.

'We need to start planning now for next season with pre-season training schedules, matches and player recruitment are all essential and it is fair to say we are once again ahead of most others in that department.`

Ed Note - Can I suggest there are certain people amongst us who take sunscreen this time!
