RUFC - News From The Gaffer

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that it didn't matter who the his Millers team was drawn against in the play-offs the players would still be training hard this week.

The Millers go to Preston North End on Saturday with the Millers Boss in his usual Gaffer On Sunday spot on the Official Site saying, 'Preston will be favourites for the play-offs so we know it will be a tough task. But we will work hard and get as prepared as we can. Our squad is full of talented players who, over the last two years, have been brilliant and these lads embrace the hard work while enjoying the challenges they face.'

The Millers have a number of players out on loan with the Gaffer saying that most of their seasons have finished and David Noble, Lionel Ainsworth and Kayode Odejayi are being released. He will be having meetings with Danny Hylton and David Worrall about their futures later on in the week while Michael Tidser still has another week to play up in Scotland with Ross County and he will meet with him later.
